The APS of Durham visits C. Wonder

Last weekend, the great folks at C. Wonder in the Southpoint Mall invited pups from the Animal Protection Society of Durham out for an afternoon for treats and play. A play area was fenced off in their store front window so everyone walking by could see the puppies. We also had one of the shelter’s long term residents, Clara, greeting customers as they came in the store.

As you can imagine, all the volunteers and dogs had a blast. Each of the dogs did so well and really showcased how wonderful and well behaved shelter animals can be. It also gave the volunteers an opportunity to talk to different members of the community about the work of the APS of Durham and the positive impact that adopting an animal can have.

A big thanks goes out to the fabulous staff at C. Wonder. Please go visit their store in the Southpoint Mall!
